As part of the CreArt network, the City of Clermont-Ferrand in France is organising a two-month residency for three visual artists at Chalet Lecoq, from 13 October to 15 December 2025. It will select two artists from the CreArt network and one from Clermont-Ferrand.
Both in the centre of town and in an atypical location in the middle of a public garden, the Chalet Lecoq invites reflection on the relationship between nature and the urban, in a place frequented by residents of all ages (families, students, senior citizens, and more). The Chalet Lecoq is the former janitor’s house of the Jardin Lecoq, a park located in the heart of the city.
The call is open to professional artists who are born, resident or domiciled in one of the cities in within CreArt 3.0: Kaunas (Lithuania), Liepaja (Lithuania), Skopje (North Macedonia), Aveiro (Portugal), Valladolid (Spain), Lublin (Poland), Venice (Italy), Clermont-Ferrand (France), České Budějovice (Czech Republic) and Oulu (Finland), Regensburg (Germany); artists-members of HDLU (Croatian Association of Visual Artists); or Ukrainian artists through our collaboration with Public Organization Lviv Artistic Council ‘Dialogue’.
Residency conditions:
- Residency grant: 3,000 EUR / artist for the two-month residency
- Production costs: 600 EUR / artist
- For European artists, reimbursement of round-trip travel expenses (up to 500 EUR)
- An end-of-residency presentation may be organised, in discussion with the artists hosted.
