Young musicians and managers aged 18–30 from Eastern and Central Europe and Baltic countries are invited to apply for a three-month hybrid project that helps independent music representatives advance their careers.

The Eastern European Music Academy (EEMA) fourth iteration is a hybrid capacity-building project aimed at advancing the careers of independent music professionals in Bulgaria, Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine.

The 12-week course – led by Music Export Ukraine in partnership with RAW Music (Romania) and Lala Slovak Music Export (Slovakia) – features classes led by internationally acclaimed experts. The classes of the academy will take place online, in English, every week on Saturdays, followed by consultations with experts on Wednesdays from 1 August to 23 October 2024.

After three months of studying, 10 students out of the group of 50 will also have the chance to attend the most important music business conference in Berlin MOST WANTED in late 2024.

The programme covers a significant portion of the costs, including participation in the international event for the top 10 scoring students. Selected applicants will be asked to contribute with a participation fee of 100 EUR as a co-funding measure, however, several scholarships are available to cover the participation fee for those who would otherwise be unable to participate.
