2026 Programme for Artistic Creation in Digital Environments (France)

Title of the call on a bright coloured background.

The interregional cooperation programme Ambivalences – run by the three regional hubs of Brittany, Normandy and Pays de la Loire – is calling for projects of artistic creation in digital environments.

The selected projects must be part of an artistic approach that uses forms of writing that renew or hybridize formats, disciplines or aesthetics, and/or address, use or question digital tools and uses, particularly in the field of artificial intelligence.

The Brittany hub is led by Electroni[k], the Normandy hub is co-led by Oblique/s and Station Mir, and the Pays de la Loire hub is led by Stereolux. Each production resulting from the call for projects will be able to be broadcast in each of the three regions from the year 2027.

This call for projects is open to all artists residing in the European territory. The project must be led by an artist or a collective of artists, demonstrating a confirmed artistic practice. The creative project must be in the writing and/or prototyping phase.

The project must demonstrate a connection or presence in at least one of the three regions. The partnerships envisaged can be at the preliminary stage and do not need to be confirmed at the time of application.

The jury will pay particular attention to the approach and social and environmental responsibility of the artist(s) in the design, production, packaging and distribution of the project.

All artistic disciplines covered by the remit of the Directorate General for Artistic Creation (DGCA) are eligible under this call for projects, namely: visual arts (plastic arts, photography, moving images, crafts, design, etc.), live performance (music and sound arts, dance, performance, theatre and related arts).

The co-production grants awarded to the winning projects will be between 10,000 EUR and 30,000 EUR.
