NEON is calling for applications from Greek non-profit organisations for projects of artistic production to be supported through its annual award scheme. NEON commissions new work to advance groundbreaking creative ideas and encourage public appreciation of art.
NEON is a non-profit organisation that works to bring contemporary culture closer to everyone. It is committed to broadening the appreciation, understanding, and creation of contemporary art in Greece, and to the firm belief that this is a key tool for growth and development.
Applications to the grant scheme may only be submitted by non-profit organisations based in Greece. This includes public or private institutions and organisations or public or private arts bodies.
The funded project must be held by the end of June 2025. Activities can be held aborad, although the participation of at least one Greek artist and/or curator in the proposed project is essential.
A total of 12 grants of 5,000 EUR each will be awarded, for Contemporary Art Exhibitions (solo or group) and Performance and Dance Production, held either in Greece or abroad.
