NEMO has issued a call for participation to encourage increased participation of museum colleagues from Central-Eastern Europe to join the NEMO European Museum Conference 2023. Six persons will be selected to receive a travel grant of 600 euro and free participation at the conference (worth 180 euro).
The call is targeted at museum professionals active in Central-Eastern Europe who have an interest in the topic of sustainability and climate action as well as a commitment to European collaboration and enthusiasm for international networking.
The NEMO European Museum Conference 2023, ‘and… ACTION! Museums in the climate crisis’ will take place from 19-21 November 2023 in Lahti, Finland. 200+ museum professionals from across Europe are expected to join the discussions about how museums can take action for the climate and a sustainable future. At the conference, participants will draw on learnings from NEMO’s recent report to explore sustainability strategies, risk management as preventive measures, and how to transform museums into futureproof and sustainable organisations.
