    Organised by Kultur- und Kunstverein Kemberg e.V., the Passage AiR programme is held in the Dübener Heide – the Düben Heath Nature Park – in Germany. Under the theme ‘Status Landscape’, two residencies in November 2021 will enable artists working in photography or film to pursue artistic site-specific artistic work and lead a workshop for young people.     Together with Levi’s®, British Council is inviting EU-based fashion, textiles, craft and materials designers or artists to submit creative proposals reimagining Levi’s® post-consumer materials. The Levi’s® Residency will run for eight weeks from August 2021 to October 2021 with a showcase at Levi’s Haus in London in October 2021. Applicants must be in France, Greece, Italy, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Romania, Portugal and Netherlands with professional experience in creating and delivering fashion, design, craft or making projects focused on sustainability.

    News / Workshop Residency for Young Artists from Visegrad Countries at the Open Air Theater Festival (Poland)

    The Agora Cultural Center in Wrocław in cooperation with artistic organisations from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland invites participation in an open call as part of the international Open Air Theater Festival. The call is open to theatre makers, with a special focus on circus performers, acrobats, performers, dancers and musicians under the age of 26 and from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The residency will run 12-18 September 2021, with participants working together to create (and finally show) a new performance on the theme of climate change.

It was presented to the European Commission in a Dialogue Meeting on 29 June 2021. Among chapters on the legal status of artists, their financial situations (encompassing fair pay, collective bargaining, intellectual property, etc.), and research and lifelong learning, there is also a chapter dedicated to mobility.

    The Nature of Us open call is aimed at artists working and living in the Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland or Slovakia who are working on a movement or body-based performance project in 2021 or 2022 that confronts art practices with concerns about the environment. Among other forms of support, the project offers a two-week artistic research session in Bratislava, Budapest, Gdansk, or Prague in the second half of 2021 or the first half of 2022.
