Malt AIR is calling for applications from professional visual artists from abroad (non-Danish artists) who can document exhibition experience within professional contexts as well as former collaborations with curators on a professional level, for a three-month residency in Denmark.
Malt AIR is a collaboration between Maltfabrikken, The Jutland Art Academy and Art Hub Copenhagen, and the programme is supported by the Danish Arts Foundation.
The periods are:
- 29 August – 26 November 2025
- 8 January – 7 April 2026
- 11 April – 9 July 2026
- 25 August – 23 November 2026
- 7 January – 6 April 2027
- 9 April – 7 July 2027
The programme offers the following:
- A three-month residency in Denmark.
- Studio facilities and accommodation in an inspiring and creative environment.
- An individually tailored programme to help to connect to a relevant network within the contemporary visual art scene in Denmark as well as support artistic research and practice.
- A monthly stipend of 1,000 EUR to cover living expenses, local transport and the cost of materials and production.
- Travel grant for return flight to Denmark.
