The Fondation Fiminco is launching an open call for visual artists of all disciplines for an 11-month research, creation and production residency (September 2024 to July 2025) based in Romainville (Seine-Saint-Denis) within greater Paris.
The residency programme is open to artists living in France and abroad, with no age limit, who can demonstrate a career in the making or who is already established.
The Fondation Fiminco accepts applications from duos and collectives, however, the conditions of accommodation and work are the same as for individual artists
Technical workshops available are the following:
- Ceramic
- Photo & Video
- 3D printing
- Engraving
- Construction
- Silk-screening
The artists can be involved, if they wish to, in the programming and mediation activities of the Fondation Fiminco throughout their residency with paid interventions. The residency will end with a group exhibition.
Resident artists will have a furnished studio, a workshop space, a production grant of up to 5,000 EUR (including tax), a round trip to and from the artist’s country of origin (up to 300 EUR inside Europe and up to 800 EUR outside Europe), professional and administrative support, an annual pass for public transport in the Ile-de France region, and French classes.
