    Mekong Cultural Hub: Call for Local Gathering Hosts in Asia (Online / Remote, Vietnam)
    MCH is currently seeking people to host Local Gatherings as part of their 2024 Meeting Point. This can be an activity such as a talk, workshop, seminar or creative action which engages people in connection and exchange in relation to the theme ‘Perspectives from the Grassroots’. After organising their local event (anytime between 8-16 March 2023), hosts will take part in an in-person programme in Hanoi from 21-23 March 2024.

    Mekong Cultural Hub is announcing an open call for applications from art and cultural practitioners from across Asia to participate in the Curated Conference 2024. The programme is a part of Meeting Point 2024 which will take place in March 2024, with an in-person gathering in Hanoi from 21-23 March.

    NOOR: Visualising Climate Crisis, Advanced Mentoring Programme (Vietnam / Online)
    The NOOR Visualising Climate Crisis: Advanced Mentoring Programme is an 8-month advanced visual storytelling training course dedicated to photographers and visual journalists from Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and Laos. The programme, which is taught in English, is a combination of two physical workshops in Hanoi, Vietnam and a 5-month online mentorship programme to develop individual projects on the Climate Crisis in the region. The new work will be presented as a collective outdoor exhibition in Hanoi in September 2023.

This cultural mobility funding guide lists national, local and international resources from both public and private funders. Two kinds of opportunity are included: outgoing and incoming. The outgoing opportunities are for nationals and residents of Vietnam wishing to travel outside the country. The incoming opportunities are for nationals from other countries who want to travel to Vietnam.

  • Mekong Cultural Hub / British Council > SEAΔ 2020-2021
    SEAΔ is a programme co-created by Mekong Cultural Hub and British Council that creates space for cultural practitioners to reflect on how their work in arts and culture can contribute to sustainable development within South East Asia through their individual and collective leadership. The focus area for 2020-2021 is ‘Biotrade’. The programme has four stages, with gatherings taking place in countries in South East Asia between November 2020 and September 2021. 10 Fellows will be selected from 10 countries: Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Philippines, Taiwan and the United Kingdom. Deadline: 15 July 2020.
