Bangkok International Performing Arts Meeting (BIPAM), Kyoto Experiment and the Japan Foundation (JF) are launching ‘Shifting Points’, an incubation project for the next generation of performing arts artists in Thailand, Japan, and Southeast Asia, jointly organised by the three organisations.

Mekong Cultural Hub (MCH) is calling for applications from culture practitioners in Asia to participate in the Curated Conference programme for 2025. The programme is a part of Meeting Point on Art and Social Action in Asia, with an in-person gathering in Vientiane, Laos, from 16 to 18 October.

Asia’s leading sustainable light festival will return for its 11th edition to showcase light art installations at Marina Bay and its neighbouring precincts from 30 May to 22 June 2025.

Orbitals is a programme that takes four curators and arts researchers to an international location to learn about a different artistic context in the Global South and share this knowledge with their communities.This year’s edition of Orbitals is scheduled for 1–17 November in Indonesia.

In the years 2024/2025, the Climate Action Artist Residencies invite a total of eight artists from all artistic fields to complete three-month long residencies with an environmental research organisation. Two artists from Germany and six from the three V20 countries in the Asia/Pacific region – Fiji, Philippines, and Samoa – will be selected.

The Objectifs Documentary Award is calling for applications from artists from Southeast Asia.

The National Library Board of Singapore is calling for applications from national and international researchers for their research fellowships. International applications are welcome for two of their fellowships: Lee Kong Chian Research Fellowship and National Library Digital Fellowship.

Organised by Singapore Art Museum, SAM residencies is now accepting applications for its Artist; Community & Education; and Curatorial and Research residencies. These studio-based residencies will take place over a period of one to six months. Artists and researchers from all around the world may apply. Cycle 3, which will take place from April 2025 to September 2026, focuses on notions of allyship and solidarities, building alternative knowledges and flowing and thinking in betweens. There are three residency programmes:

GMS Artist Residency, between 23 and 30 April 2024, is calling for applications from artists who hold nationality of, and currently live and work in, one of the countries in the Greater Mekong Subregion.

The UNESCO Regional Office in Bangkok (UNESCO Bangkok), under the project ‘Strengthening digital capacity for cultural and creative entrepreneurs in Mekong Cluster’ as part of the Creative Digital Lab regional project initiative funded by Korea Funds-in-Trust (KFIT), is seeking a contractor to develop online training and pilot a creative digital incubation programme.
