Kone Foundation: Saari Residence (Finland / Remote)The Saari Residence in Finland, Northern Europe, is an international artist in residence for professional artists and artist collectives of various fields. The residency is maintained by Kone Foundation and located in Mynämäki, Southwest Finland. The two-month artist residency periods run from September to April, with eight Saari Fellows staying at the residency at a time. The residence allows new ideas to develop without pressure to complete a piece of work or project. The scheme is open to artists of all disciplines. You can apply for this grant for your artistic work if you are a professional artist working in Finland, a professional artist who is a Finnish citizen working abroad, or an artist with a close connection to Finland. Saari Residence > Individual and Group Residencies (Finland)The Saari Residence, maintained by Helsinki-based Kone Foundation, is an international residence located in Mynämäki, Southwest Finland. Both individual and group residencies are offered. Two-month individual residency periods are available from January to February 2021, March to April 2021, September to October 2021, and November to December 2021, while the group residencies for 1 to 4 weeks take place during the months of May, June, July and August 2021.
