An initiative of CreArt and local organisation Artkomas, the Kaunas artist in residence programme is open to painters, photographers and new media artists. Four artists will be selected for a one-month residency from 4 August – 4 September 2021. To apply artists should be – born or resident – in any of the cities in the CreArt: Aveiro, Clermont-Ferrand, Genoa (Genoa artists should be under 35), Katowice, Kaunas, Lecce, Liverpool, Lublin, Rouen, Skopje, Valladolid, Zagreb.
Ephemera Phestival will take place 17-26 September 2021 with different ephemeral artistic interventions appearing in the public space of Valladolid. Projects can be presented individually or collectively. Katowice, within the European project CreArt, is opening a new call for artistic works interpreting the theme of an exhibition on ‘Weightlessness’, taking place from 23 July to 12 September 2021. Applications are open only to artists born or residing in other cities participating in the CreArt project: Aveiro (PT), Clermont – Ferrand (FR), Genoa (IT) for artists under 35, Kaunas (LT), Liverpool (UK), Lublin (PL), Rouen (FR), Skopje (MK), Valladolid (ES), Zagreb (HR).

CreArt have issued a call for an artist or collective from the CreArt Cities Network and a Liverpool digital/graphic designer/street artist/collective to collaborate to design, create and install a site-specific mural within the Chinatown area of Liverpool at Great George Square. The collaboration will take place remotely. Artists may submit individually, to be paired during the selection process, or as a pre-arranged pairing. The production/installation will take place 1-11 February 2021.
CreArt – the Network of Cities for Artistic Creation is inviting invites three visual artists from the CreArt Network to work for one month 1-30 April 2021 at Atelierhaus Salzamt in Linz, Austria. Only local artists born or resident in the following CreArt cities are eligible to apply: Valladolid, Spain; Clermont – Ferrand, France; Lublin, Poland; Skopje, Macedonia, Liverpool, UK, and HDLU members/Zagreb, Croatia.
Residencies are available for 3 artists from the CreArt Network and 2 artists from Valladolid to work for one month in Valladolid AiR in Lava (Laboratorio de las Artes de Valladolid) between 14 September and 16 October 2020. The City of Rouen are looking for a street artist from the CreArt network (born or resident in Valladolid – Spain; Genoa and Lecce – Italy; Clermont – Ferrand / France; Zagreb – Croatia; Kaunas –Lituania; Lublin and Katowice – Poland; Aveiro – Portugal; Skopje – North Macedonia) to come and work alongside a street artist from Rouen to produce a mural at the semi-abandoned suburban area of Les Contremoulins. Work will take place 1-15 June 2020, and the wall will be shown as part of the festival Rouen Impressionnée. Deadline: 27 January 2020.
