ForesTEEN Academy involves four days of immersion in nature, performing arts, sharing, discussion between artists, professionals from cultural sector, teachers, parents and adolescents in the contest of ForesTEEN project. It will be held from 22 to 26 April 2026 in Giglio Island (Tuscany, Italy).
The format already experimented in previous editions is in its third year within the ForesTEEN project financed by Creative Europe until 2027. It provides an exchange and sharing of thoughts and experiences in an unconventional and stimulating context.
It is dedicated to teenagers, professionals in the cultural sector (operators, organisers, technicians, artists, teachers, parents), teachers and parents who have a curiosity or experience to share.
Each day will include walking discussions, participation in site-specific performances with a final ritual involving the citizens of Giglio Island.
Who can participate
- TEENs: young people between 15 and 25 years of age
- Professionals in the cultural sector (operators, organisers, technicians, artists, teachers and more)
- Teachers (any level)
- Curious parents (parent candidacy will be accepted only if they do not have children in the selected group)
Expenses for TEENs are covered by the ForesTEEN project thanks to European funding. Expenses for people aged more than 25 years are partially covered by the ForesTEEN project thanks to European funding.
