El Graner is opening a new call for applications of support for residency projects from January to December 2027. This call is aimed at artists, groups and other professionals, both local and international, working in the fields of dance and the performing arts, and who are developing creative or research projects of different types.
The international category is aimed at researchers, artists and collectives based internationally whose artistic practice is developed primarily outside Spain and who do not have a direct or ongoing connection with the Catalan or Spanish artistic context. Applications may be submitted for research or creation projects in the fields of dance and live arts that place the body, movement and choreographic thinking at the centre of the research.
This category aims to encourage the arrival at Graner of practices, methodologies and imaginaries linked to international contexts.
Graner will host the selected project for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of four weeks, not necessarily consecutive.
The International grant has a financial endowment of 3,000 EUR. Additionally, El Graner will provide workspace, access to facilities and support. They also cover travel expenses exclusively for attendance at the two annual APLEC gatherings, a programme for artists selected through an open call. This support covers national and European travel only.
