Mobility Funding Guide to Italy

Title of the publication with circular design patterns on a coloured background.

Our guide to cross-border mobility for artists and cultural workers from and travelling to Italy.

This cultural mobility funding guide lists national, local and international resources from both public and private funders. Two kinds of opportunity are included: outgoing and incoming. The outgoing opportunities are for nationals and residents of Italy wishing to travel outside the country. The incoming opportunities are for nationals from other countries who want to travel to Italy.

The guide only lists regular opportunities that are accessible online (for instance for touring, residencies, collaborations, training, etc.). Funds where information is only available offline, schemes which do not use open calls, and one-off or short-term funding programmes are not included.

The 2026 edition of the Cultural Mobility Funding Guide to Italy was updated thanks to the research by OTM member, Liv.in.g. – Live internationalization gateway.

With the support of Roma Capitale – Department of Culture, as part of the public call for proposals, 'Roma Creativa 365: Culture all year round', in collaboration with Zètema Progetto Cultura.
