European cooperation project Feed Your Future announce the Art Feeds Collective Residencies 2026, inviting artists and collectives from the EU and Creative Europe countries to explore the theme ‘Edible Commons: Performing the Future of Food’. The programme offers 15-day collective residencies (in February and May 2026) where artistic practice meets ecology, community engagement, and climate action.
Five residencies will be hosted in Paphos (Cyprus), Milan (Italy), Almere (Netherlands), Brașov (Romania), and Thessaloniki (Greece), each rooted in its local social and ecological context and supported by dedicated curators. Outcomes will be shared through public activities and a final masterclass during the 2026 closing event in Milan.
Art Feeds aims to generate new narratives around food, care, and sustainability, inviting artists to imagine inclusive and regenerative futures.
Applicants must be working in performance, visual arts, socially engaged practices, design, or multimedia art. Only individuals can apply.
Support:
- Artist fee: 500 EUR (gross).
- Production budget: 800 EUR per artist.
- Round trip travel from the city of residence indicated in the application form.
- Accommodation and subsistence covered for the full duration of the residency.
- Travel, accommodation and subsistence to participate in the Feed Your Future Final Event in Milan, at the end of 2026 (if selected).
- Curatorial mentoring, networking, and documentation support.
Residencies are designed to be low-impact and sustainable, encouraging eco-friendly mobility, local sourcing, and shared resources.
