The Caribbean Culture Fund (CCF) invites qualified applicants to apply for the role of Grants Manager.
Based in the Caribbean, with possible international travel both in and outside the Caribbean region, the Grants Manager manages the distribution of funds to CCF grantees and supports them in meeting their compliance obligations.
The Grants Manager supports the Executive Director, the CCF Steering Committee and, where necessary, external consultants in designing calls for proposals for each CCF grant cycle. Grantees are selected via juries. The Grants Manager then works with each cohort of grantees to ensure the timely distribution of funds, the completion of the projects that have been funded and the required reporting. The Grants Manager also works with the Communications Manager to ensure that grantees’ activities are appropriately promoted.
Please note that the ability to speak, read and write English, French and Spanish is critical to this role.
Qualifications and competencies
- Minimum of five years of experience in similar grant/project management roles
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of French and Spanish will be viewed favourably
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team
- Excellent time management skills
- Keen attention to detail
