All-Around Culture > Open Call for Cultural Alliances and Youth-led Initiatives ProgrammesThe All-Around Culture Programme aims to foster a vital cultural ecosystem as an enabling environment for social and economic inclusion of young people in seven countries across the Arab region including Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Palestine, Tunisia, and Libyan and Syrian communities in these countries. The programme currently has two open calls – for Youth-led Initiatives and Cultural Alliances.Closed- Mophradat > Art Time Residency for Performing Artists from the Arab World (Belgium)Mophradat has partnered again with Kunstencentrum BUDA and NEXT Festival in Belgium, this time to offer a performing artist from the Arab world the opportunity to be in residency for a three-week period (October / November 2021) and use BUDA’s facilities to finalise a piece in-progress. Immediately following the residency, the new work will be performed during the 2021 edition of NEXT Festival, which takes place across the Eurometropolis region of Kortrijk and Tournai in Belgium, and Lille and Valenciennes in France.Closed
Mobility Funding Guide to the Arab RegionOur guide to cross-border mobility for artists and cultural workers from and travelling to the Arab Region. This cultural mobility funding guide lists national, local and international resources from both public and private funders. Two kinds of opportunity are included: outgoing and incoming. The outgoing opportunities are for nationals and residents of Arab Region countries wishing to travel outside their country. The incoming opportunities are for nationals from other regions who want to travel to Arab Region countries.- Open Call for Tandem 360°Tandem 360° are looking for 20 civil society and cultural activists from Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Sudan, Tunisia, and from Libyan initiatives and collectives displaced in these countries. Tandem 360° is a new addition to the six existing Tandem programmes for cultural exchange. In the spirit of ‘doing-it-together’, the one-year programme offers a space to experiment with multidisciplinary project ideas, ecosystem mapping and inventive approaches to create change through culture.
