- Alpine Fellowship > Theatre Prize 2020In 2020, the Alpine Fellowship Theatre Prize will be awarded for the best playwriting response to the theme ‘Forgiveness and Retribution’. The Prize is aimed at encouraging theatre writers at the start of their careers to explore and challenge philosophical ideas using the dramatic form. A winner and several runners up will be invited to attend the Fellowship’s annual Symposium in Fjällnäs, Sweden. The Prize is open to theatre writers from around the world above 18 years of age. It asks the question: How can inclusive, speculative, and/or critical design and landscape architecture help us to re-think and re-shape land left behind? The residency is open to international artists and covers twelve weeks: 8-19 June 2020 (research), 17 August - 11 October 2020 (production), and 12-25 October 2020 (presentation). The Network has launched an open call for filmmakers from these three countries to attend three workshops: in Cesis, Latvia, 31 May - 3 June; in Mooste, Estonia, 19-22 July 2020; and in Gotland, Sweden, 27-30 September 2020.
