The European Festivals Fund for Emerging Artists (EFFEA) is back with its fifth call, supporting festivals to work together and create opportunities for emerging artists across borders. Applications are open for residencies taking place in 2027.

“Atmospheric Waves” seeks original concepts and ideas for sound art works that respond to the wind and climate conditions of Liepaja on the western coast of Latvia. “Atmospheric Waves” is a festival dedicated to embracing the many aspects of wind through the diverse fields of sound art, public engagement and sensorial cultures of listening.

The Bagri Foundation offers grants to non-profit arts organisations actively engaged in the cultural sector, supporting artistic projects that promote traditional and/or contemporary Asian culture. There must be a confirmed public outcome in UK or Europe.

Time for (S) Heroes design journey is inviting curious individuals at the early stage of their careers with advanced skills in fashion, costume, art installation, or other design approaches to submit proposals that challenge traditional approaches, experiment with new mediums, and contribute to a more sustainable and immersive creative landscape.

The National Gallery of Iceland is calling for applications from artists working in complex media or emerging technologies (generative AI, custom sensors, sound, software-based, blockchain, physical and digital hybrid, etc) for the artist residency in relation to its CUSP programme, a European cooperation project funded through Creative Europe’s Culture grant.

The Nordic Council of Ministers invites project proposals as part of Nordic Currents, a new international culture initiative to take place in 2027–2028.
