The aim of the Veneto Residency Centre is to support artistic residencies as experimental laboratories for the performing arts, offering space and support to multidisciplinary artists at regional, national and international levels.
Each selected artist/company will be granted a 15-day residency, to be carried out across different venues of the Centre, including at least two public sharings in two different locations, according to a schedule to be agreed upon. All residencies and public sharings must take place no later than 31 December 2026.
The three residencies are open to individual artists, companies or collectives with at least two years of professional experience. The call is open to projects in the fields of theatre, dance and performing arts.
At least one of the selected projects will be specifically designed to support artists under 35, who do not yet have significant experience in presenting their work.
The residency grant is as follows:
- 2,000 EUR, including taxes (and VAT if applicable), for individual artists or companies/collectives of up to 2 members.
- 3,000 EUR, including taxes (and VAT if applicable), for companies/collectives from 3 up to a maximum of 5 members.
- Accommodation costs will be covered by the Veneto Residency Centre.
