Unplugged Dance is looking for a mobility instructor to collaborate on the residential dance education programme, 18–31 May or 8–14 June 2025 in Lefkada, Ionian Islands, Greece.
The organisers are looking for professionals on the fields of dance and movement sciences, such as functional training, physiology and biomechanics, physiotherapy, athletic training for dancers, or injury prevention and rehab, that are approaching body and movement in a holistic way and using student-centred pedagogical approaches that are focusing on self-awareness and agency.
If selected, collaborators will be expected to teach a 5-day or 10-day morning class of 1,5 hour per day in English, to an international mixed and diverse group of people, either 18–31 May or 8–14 June 2025. There will also be a scheduled online meeting at some point before the start of the programme, between March and April 2025.
The organisers provide 75 EUR per 1,5 hour class (including taxes if applicable), accommodation and three vegetarian meals per day, support for travel expenses (100 EUR for Greek facilitators, and 250 EUR for international facilitators), attendance in the rest of the workshops if they wish.
