The project Our Stage aims to give young Roma artists and travellers the opportunity to be in the forefront of creating performances and to gain ground in labour integration within the creative sector.
Our Stage are now calling for young actors, dancers, technicians and musicians who feel involved with the Roma, Sinti and other traveling communities and who want to participate in an artistic international exchange between 6 countries from 15-21 October 2023 in Lisbon, Portugal.
Participants will learn how the creative sector works and will gain opportunities to integrate in the labour market. The project is mainly about open racism and exclusion in Europe, in particular against the Roma, Sinti.
Eligibility:
- Actors/Actresses, Technicians, Dancers, Musicians.
- A good understanding of the English language.
- Experience in theatre, music or performing arts techniques.
- Age: young people up to 30 years old, with Roma and Sinti background.
The project will cover accommodation, travel costs and meals.
