NEMO is looking for five professionals from across Europe to take part in its conference (‘Innovation begins within - Resilient museums in times of disruption’) in Loulé, Portugal from 9-11 October 2022, and in an associated meeting as part of the ‘MOI! Museum of Impact’ project.
MOI! Museums of Impact has been running since 2019 and aims to develop a European self-evaluation framework for museums, with impact at its core, for the benefit of both museums and European citizens. The framework will help museums to develop their capacity to meet the demands of a changing, more diverse, increasingly digital and ageing society, by supporting them in evaluating and actively refocusing their work in line with their own strengths and strategies. The conference meeting in Portugal will be a final discussion and review of the soon to be published self-evaluation framework.
The five participants will receive a mobility grant of €1000 for travel, accommodation and for the reduced conference fee (€100) to NEMO’s annual conference. Mobility scheme participants will be selected based on their motivation to participate and ability to actively use the framework in their own institutions or disseminate information about it. NEMO members will be given priority.
