MAQAM is a 90-day international artistic residency organised by Danseurs Citoyens Sud in Gabès, Southern Tunisia. The residency offers artists a space for artistic research, experimentation, exchange, and engagement with the local context and community.
The call is open to artists and cultural practitioners aged 18 and above, legally residing in a Creative Europe participating country*, and working across different artistic disciplines and practices.
The residency covers international round-trip travel from the artist’s country of residence to Tunisia, airport transfers, accommodation, three daily meals, insurance, programme-related local transportation, workspace and facilities, and activities included in the residency programme.
