Garage Gallery’s international residency for artists and curators is open to any artist who does not have a permanent residence in Prague. The residency will end with a final exhibition of the selected applicant’s project, and is open for solo or duo applications due to the size of the offered accommodation.
The next residency will run from 1 July – 15 September 2023, divided into a two-month residency followed by two weeks of installation and preparation for an exhibition at the gallery starting in mid September 2023.
Garage Gallery offers:
- A stipend of 2000 euros (including travel and living costs) + installation budget (approx. 500 euros).
- Accommodation (for max. 2 people).
- PR & promotion on social media (professional photography of the installation, posting on online curated platforms, video reports, articles etc.).
- Technical support and installation assistance for the final show.
The organisers ask each resident to leave one art piece in the gallery’s collection.
