Deutscher Musikrat (the German Music Council) offers grants for residency programmes in Germany for musicians from Ukraine, Russia and Belorussia who had to flee their home countries as a consequence of the war in Ukraine. German-based professional music ensembles are eligible to apply for up to 6500 EUR for residencies between September and December 2022. (6000 EUR scholarship for the musician, 500 EUR compensation for the administrative work of the ensemble.)
The programme U*music is aimed at helping musicians to continue their creative work in Germany, to establish a professional network for themselves within in the German music sector, and to foster their social, economical and creative integration in Germany.
