Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship 2026–2027 (UK)

The Chevening Clore Leadership Fellowship is a partnership between the UK Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office and Clore Leadership, offering mid-career professionals in the arts and culture sector an opportunity to undertake an individually tailored leadership programme in the UK.

Hosted by Clore Leadership, the fellowship will take place at various locations across the UK. Fellows will attend two intensive residential courses, typically held at Ashorne Hill near Leamington Spa, as well as participate in skills workshops, mentoring sessions, and a tailored secondment with a UK cultural institution.

The fellowship will run from September to May. Fellows will go to the UK for two weeks in September, then go back to their home countries. They will then return to the UK from January to May.

Applications are invited from individuals citizens of Brazil, China, Egypt, India, Jordan, Lebanon, Mexico, or South Africa and be a resident in one of these countries at the point of application. They also must have completed at least five years’ work, or equivalent, experience.

Each fellowship includes:

  • Accommodation while in the UK
  • Living expenses while in the UK
  • Up to two return economy flights from your home country to the UK
  • Course and conference fees within the UK
  • Training and development costs within the UK
  • Travel in the UK
