Text of the call on a coloured background as if it's painted.

OASis is a European project that brings together international authors with local communities. Promoted by Gerador in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon, OASis Lisboa is part of the European project OASis – Open Art Spaces in Synergy, which aims to create a network of open and free creative spaces, with the goal of reducing entry barriers to the art world.

The goal of OASis Lisbon is to strengthen the Goethe-Institut’s connection to the local community, with a focus on people over 50.

The residency, lasting five working days (between 31 August and 25 September 2026), is intended for the final development of the selected projects. Activities during the artistic residency should include interaction with the local community and culminate in the presentation of an output to be shared at the Artistic Journey Showcase.

From 6 October to 1 November 2026, the works developed will be presented in an exhibition together with five other works created by local artists, in various spaces of the Goethe-Institut in Lisbon.

Eligible applicants are people residing in Portugal who do not hold Portuguese nationality, as well as people residing in other European Union countries besides Portugal or in the additional countries covered by the Creative Europe Programme.
