The Baltic Nordic Circus Network (BNCN) is looking for Network Coordinator who enjoys international collaboration, communication and orchestrating ambitious change.
BNCN is a network of 21 member organisations across the Baltic and Nordic countries. BNCN’s goal is to strengthen regional collaboration and develop the contemporary circus field in our region. BNCN does this by developing cooperation projects which build capacity, visibility and collaboration for contemporary circus in the Baltic and Nordic countries.
BNCN is not a legally incorporated organisation in its own right, thus the network is hosted as a project under a member organisation. Projects derive from the members as well as national circus scenes’ needs. The coordinator of the network is employed by the host organisation, reports to a network Steering Committee and will collaborate with members to deliver ambitious projects.
Responsibility of the coordinator is to:
- Plan and deliver biannual BNCN meetings and general assemblies in collaboration with members;
- Manage freelancers working on network projects;
- Facilitate development of new collaborative projects between members;
- Coordinate and lead network projects including budget management;
- Together with the Steering Committee create and deliver fundraising strategies for the activities of BNCN (the long-term salary depends on fundraising & successful projects);
- Advocate and represent the Baltic-Nordic circus scene at local, national and international levels;
- Be responsible for BNCN’s internal and external communication including managing BNCN’s social media and website.
This can be a remote job position or successful candidates can have a desk in host organisation office in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Salary starts at 1,700 EUR per month before taxes, offered as employment or freelance position.
