The Bravo! International Performing Arts Festival for Young Audiences in the Helsinki metropolitan area is now seeking proposals for workshops and art education programmes aimed at both professionals and children, young people, and their families.

ASSITEJ New Voices scholarship is designed to support artistic and cultural exchange and collaboration at ASSITEJ events between international artists under 35 who are interested in theatre and performance for, with and by children and young people.

Scènes d’enfance – ASSITEJ France, in partnership with Théâtre Massalia, is organising the ASSITEJ Artistic Gathering 2025 in Marseille, France, 23–29 March 2025. They are now calling for applications to take part in the Professional Exchange Programme at the event.

ASSITEJ International is calling for applications from directors, choreographers, playwrights, or performers residing working in the field of the performing arts for young audiences for their residency. The residency will provide a powerful networking opportunity and a chance to experience performances from around the world.

ASSITEJ International has been awarded a major grant from the European Union for their three-year project, Theatre & Performing Arts for Young Audiences: Building Collective Resilience. In order to implement this project, ASSITEJ International is recruiting a Project Producer & Co-ordinator. Start of employment is August/September 2022.

The Next Generation residency programme is an ASSITEJ initiative, designed to support artistic and cultural exchange and collaboration between international artists aged 36 years or below, interested in theatre for young audiences, at ASSITEJ events. ASSITEJ Sweden and the Bibu Biennial in Helsingborg invites 16 artists, critics, producers, researchers, from around the world to attend the Next Generation programme at Bibu 17 – 22 May 2022.

The Cradle ReWired project will explore how work can be presented in real life when audiences are not able to engage normally with theatre/theatre spaces. Artists from South Africa and Belgium will be paired to explore ideas together, with one or two proposals selected to present at the Cradle of Creativity festival at the Market Theatre, South Africa in August 2022.

MedeArts and ASSITEJ Denmark are calling for participants to an exchange programme in the field of performing arts for children and young people. The exchange will include a 10-day residency in Irbid, Jordan and two preparatory meetings online. It is also the intention that the participants will visit Aprilfestival 2022 in Denmark, but this is still to be financed and confirmed.
