Founded in 1984, artlink is an independent organisation based in Switzerland dedicated to the promotion of artists and cultural practitioners from Africa, Latin America, Asia, and Eastern Europe. artlink initiates and co-develops programmes with both Swiss and international partners to tackle practical challenges that artists face in their respective regional contexts: residencies, touring and network support, vocational training, skill sharing, civic spaces etc. In Switzerland, artlink actively supports cultural practitioners that recently relocated to the country, strengthening their presence in the cultural landscape and fostering its cultural diversity. In the past 40 years, artlink has supported more than 10,000 artists from more than 100 countries. artlink is one of a kind in Switzerland. It gives value to the transformative power of arts and contributes to a more equitable society.
