Skisser i bevegelse (Sketches in Motion) are looking for dancers to deliver Dance and Society workshops that facilitate genuine encounters between dance artists and professionals working in services for diverse population groups in Norway.
These could include meetings between healthcare professionals and dance artists, municipal employees and performing artists, or members of parliament and the arts field.
The goal is to create tangible meeting points across disciplines, where dance can contribute to positive societal development. The organisers are particularly interested in exploring how dance can serve as a tool in building a forward-thinking society that promotes public health and quality of life.
Skisser i bevegelse is looking for artists working at the intersection of socially relevant themes and the arts, with an interest in developing projects with documented impact. It is advantageous if the project has already demonstrated positive results and has potential for further development.
Format:
- The workshop can be physical, digital, or a combination.
- The duration may vary from 3 hours to several days.
- It will be held between April and September 2025.
- Ideally it will take place in Hamar, though other relevant locations in the Innlandet region may be considered.
The workshop facilitator fee, travel costs (within Europe) and accommodation in Hamar are compensated. Skisser i bevegelse handles the practical organisation.
