RESEO – European Network for Opera, Music and Dance Education is looking for a freelance administrator to be responsible for contracting, finance, and administration processes for the RESEO network.
This contract is envisaged initially for a period of 12 months from 1 September 2022 - 31 August 2023 with a view to the Administrator providing an ongoing service for the Network subject to review. Trial period of 3 months.
Services will include:
- Creating contracts and service descriptions for current and new members of staff (currently 2 staffs).
- Drafting membership renewal invoices and new members invoices.
- Consistent and regular management of payments and invoicing in collaboration with RESEO Freelance Project and Membership Managers, including but not limited to tracking all payments received by RESEO, reviewing all receipts from staff, steering committee members, speakers.
- Upkeeping Staff payments records.
- Drafting the annual budget in collaboration with RESEO Chair.
- Consistent and regular coding and book keeping of all spending.
- Upkeeping of annual budget and spend.
- Liaison with accountants to provide them with all material for annual audit, including but not limited to cross-referencing items from one year to the next, cross-referencing budget of RESEO events with the general budget, etc.
- Preparing AGM financial materials such as reviewing annual accounts with the accountant, drafting annual accounts for the AGM, presenting the annual budget at the AGM, following-up with the accountant for legal formalities…
- Attendance at RESEO Steering Committee Meetings: before the AGM and to present the annual budget.
Minimum base, fixed fee for administration support at 3600 euros. The candidate can work ‘virtually’ from any location, using own hardware and wifi connection – preferably but not necessary Brussels-based. Hours and working schedule to be self-defined.
