The Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility, as part of The New School in New York City, is pleased to announce a post-doctoral fellowship for the 2020-2022 academic years. This is an ideal opportunity for recent Ph.D. graduates to join a leading teaching, research, and policy institute on migration and mobility studies in New York City.
The Fellow will be expected to participate in the Institute’s activities, and will teach two courses during each academic year (four courses total): a course on International Immigration Policy, and an elective course with a focus on the Fellow’s research. The Fellow will also contribute to the Institute’s facilitation of public engagement with academics, policy makers, activists and artists as related to migration and mobility.
The Fellow will receive a competitive salary and opportunities to work with leading migration experts and scholars as part of the Zolberg Institute’s intellectual community.
The New School is committed to actively recruiting from a diverse pool of applicants. They encourage candidates from groups underrepresented in US higher education to apply.
