Eastern European Music Academy (EEMA) by Music Export Ukraine is inviting music professionals from Eastern Europe to join a 12-week intensive online music business programme focused on the region. The Academy is from 4 September 2025 to 27 November. Every week, students will meet with internationally renowned experts, and gain knowledge on the business side of music.
The programme includes:
- Learning the ecosystem and current trends of the music business
- Managing rights & royalties, getting paid for your work
- Music marketing and PR for your project
- Digital promo and music distribution
- Choosing the right showcase to move your career forward
- Booking your first tour
- Sync deals and rights management
- Income streams beyond digital and gigs
- Exporting your music
- How to get a grant for your project development
The cohort will be part of a learning community of 60 professionals from Czechia, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine.
There are full scholarships available and the Top 10 students (according to their grades over the course) will get an opportunity to have a fully funded trip to showcase and connect at Eurosonic (ESNS) 2026 in the Netherlands.
