Bridging Balkan Borders is calling from applications from songwriters for one of their Songwriting Camps in January and February 2025.

E75 Art Bus is calling for applications from professional artists resident in the regions of the E75 Art Bus route – Finnmark (Norway), Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Slovakia, Hungary, Serbia, North Macedonia, Greece – to participate in a residency between April and June 2025 (ranging from 6 weeks to 2 months).

Led by theatre director and choreographer Filip Petkovski at Cultural Centre ‘Laboratorium’ in Skopje, this 22-day residency will train five actors/actresses from the Balkan region in postdramatic theatre, from 15 September to 6 October 2024

UNESCO, the British Council and the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) are jointly managing Culture and Creativity for the Western Balkans (CC4WBs), a project funded by the European Union to foster dialogue in the Western Balkans by enhancing the cultural and creative sectors for increased socio-economic impact.

City of Skopje and the public cultural institution Cultural Informative Center (CIC) are announcing an open call for artists in residence that will take place in Skopje from 1 to 30 June 2024. Tanz.Transformator is a one-year open and inclusive dance project of Beatrix Cultural Center in Skopje. Choreographers can apply to produce a performance with ambitious emerging and established dancers from the country on inspiring productions, which will be staged in Skopje and tour to several other cities in the region. For this second cycle of the project, activities will take place during June and July 2023. Applications are open to emerging or established artists over the age of 25 who are European citizens or who are living/working in Europe.

‘Liquid Frameworks, Solid Institutions — building participation from the bottom up’ Summer School in Ohrid invites participants from Southeast Europe and the Western Balkans (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Greece, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Romania, Serbia, Slovenia) to its training programme from 19-23 September 2022.
