Bridging Balkan Borders is calling from applications from songwriters for one of their Songwriting Camps in January and February 2025.
The aims of the programme are to create original songs with emerging and established talents, learn from leading mentors and industry professionals, celebrate the diversity of Southeast Europe’s music scene, and record in state-of-the-art studios and explore new technologies.
There are three camps to choose from:
- Zagreb, Croatia: 20–25 January 2025
- Skopje, North Macedonia: 3–7 February 2025
- Sofia, Bulgaria: 18–24 February 2025
This programme is open to citizens and residents of Serbia, North Macedonia, Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Greece, Slovenia, Kosovo, and Turkey.
Applicants must be primarily a songwriter or a producer actively involved in songwriting and they must be available to attend the full camp duration and travel internationally.
The programme provides the following:
- Travel and accommodation (excluding participants from the host cities)
- Professional studio sessions and mentorship with top industry experts
- Cultural exchange with artists from across the Balkan region
- Networking opportunities
- Daily lunch provided
