The 18th Werkstattwoche Lüben is an international artist residency for a limited time and thrives on the combination of artistic work, personal exchange and shared experience.
From 1 to 12 July 2027, the participants will live and work on-site in the village of Lüben, Germany, meet each other in their creative everyday lives, and further develop their projects in an open, inspiring environment.
The focus is on individual artistic practice, dialogue between artists of diverse backgrounds, and engagement with the public. The project culminates in a joint exhibition showcasing the work created. The resulting works will be presented to the public.
Accommodation is free of charge with private individuals in the village (not hotel standard). There are free meals in the ‘Lübener Tenne’, including coffee, tea, and water. If needed, a travel expense allowance may be provided for participants.
