    News / Open Sound: Call for Music Producers for Academy (Italy)

    Open Sound Academy is running a competition to find a music producer to work experimentally with traditional Lucanian sounds (bagpipes, cowbells, cupa cupa). The winning applicant will participate in an artistic residency in Basilicata, Italy from 23-29 August 2021 to co-create a live show, with performances in San Severino Lucano and Milan. The call is addressed to all the citizens from the European Union between 18 and 35 years old.

    News / DISKURS35: Open Call for Artworks and Proposals for Festival of Art and Theory (Germany)

    DISKURS is a festival at the interface between art and theory. The next edition will take place from 11-17 October 2021. Proposals are sought from the fields of performance, installation, media art, as well as lectures, discussion series and all hybrid or undefined formats. Two short residencies (27 September – 10 October 2021) will also be offered during the festival, inviting those involved with theory and art to work on research projects on site, which can be presented during the festival period.

    The Agora Cultural Center in Wrocław in cooperation with artistic organisations from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland invites participation in an open call as part of the international Open Air Theater Festival. The call is open to theatre makers, with a special focus on circus performers, acrobats, performers, dancers and musicians under the age of 26 and from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Poland. The residency will run 12-18 September 2021, with participants working together to create (and finally show) a new performance on the theme of climate change.
