The next edition of the festival of Kinetic Art ‘Light.Move.Festival’ will take place 24-26 September 2021 in Łódź, Poland.
The theme for the 11th edition is CONNECT and the programme focuses on people, their place in the world, social, spiritual and artistic ties, real and virtual relations, and the condition of interpersonal contacts in the face of the challenges of the 21st century.
The organisers are calling for artistic works that will unconventionally change the festival’s urban green spaces (Henryk Sienkiewicz Park, Stanisław Moniuszko Park, and Źródliska I and II Park) with art of light: light installations, interactive installations or interdisciplinary projects. The invitation is addressed to all artists, light designers, architects and people dealing with the art of light and visual arts.
There are two categories:
- Light art: light installations, including interactive installations; artistic illuminations of park greenery; performance projects: dance, street theatres, music projects.
- Debut / Experiment: category for debutants and young artists.
Applicants submit a budget which should include the artistic fee, various production costs, costs of transport, and accommodation.
