The Japan Foundation, Bangkok is seeking project proposals for new ideas and approaches on how to implement and/or experiment with cultural exchange projects.
The Coronavirus outbreak has spread in many places all over the world. The lockdown has been implemented in order to halt the spread of virus; however, it is placing pressure on the economy and on social mechanisms. Just like many sectors, this crisis has disrupted cultural and creative production and gradually shifted the world to a ‘new normal’ with the culture of ‘social distancing’. Amidst this social distancing, how can we engage in cultural exchanges?
Eligibility:
- This call is open to individuals, teams and non-profit organisations (e.g. universities, research institutes and academic associations, NGO/NPOs) of any nationality.
- Project site should be in Thailand or implemented via online platform.
- Project details are expected to promote cultural exchange between Japan-Thailand and/or regional exchange in Asia.
Budgets are assigned according to the specific needs of each proposal and applications are open to both individuals and groups.
