IETM – International network for contemporary performing arts is seeking a full-time Production Assistant to join its Secretariat in Brussels. The organisation is an international cultural network, bringing together over 500 members worldwide to strengthen the contemporary performing arts sector through events, advocacy, research and community initiatives.
The Production Assistant will support the Programme Manager – Events and the Communications and Events Manager in planning and managing international gatherings ranging from small meetings to large-scale events of up to 600 participants. The role is particularly suited to those in the early stages of their professional development in the arts.
The position is full-time (38 hours per week) and based in Brussels, with a hybrid working model. The contract is permanent, starting in 2025.
Applicants should have experience in project coordination or administration, a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, demonstrable interest in the performing arts, fluency in English, and strong organisational skills. Knowledge of French, Dutch or other languages is an advantage. Experience of working in an international environment or on international projects is an advantage. The salary is based on the Flemish salary scales for the performing arts sector (CAO PC304) Scale C+. Benefits include luncheon vouchers per day worked and a monthly contribution towards public transport. Overtime during events will be compensated with time off.
