Help develop the European Commission’s AI strategy for the Cultural and Creative Sectors.
The European Commission’s strategy will set out a vision to support the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS) while fostering innovation and safeguarding European cultural and linguistic diversity.
The opportunities and challenges presented by AI in the CCS are complex, spanning technical, economic and societal dimensions. This call for evidence aims to gather information and stakeholders’ views to help develop a strategy that will ensure AI complements, rather than replaces, human creativity; supports broader access to culture and knowledge; and contributes to a fair, sustainable, innovative and competitive European creative economy.
The consultation is open to anyone, including artists, creators, rights holders, professional associations, AI providers, developers, researchers and public authorities with cultural and AI policy expertise, as well as members of the public with an interest in the future of culture and creativity in the age of AI.
