Title of the call on a coloured background.

CREAPOLIS Malta is calling for applications from Ukrainian professionals working at the intersection of civic life, culture, and local development. CREAPOLIS is a European exchange and capacity-building programme supporting Ukrainian professionals operating at the crossroads of civic engagement, cultural ecosystems, and local development.

In a time of urgent reconstruction and societal transformation, the programme provides space for shared learning, peer exchange, and international collaboration. The next edition of CREAPOLIS is taking place in Malta from 5 to 9 October 2026.

The Malta edition of CREAPOLIS focuses on ‘Diversification Through Culture’, exploring how culture operates across governance, public life, tourism, education, and community practice.

Hosted in collaboration with Culture Venture, participants will gain direct insight into how cultural ecosystems function under structural constraints, and how adaptive, hybrid approaches can inform Ukraine’s recovery and long-term development.

The programme welcomes applications from experienced Ukrainian professionals engaged in shaping their communities through culture, civic initiatives, education, media, tourism, or related fields, including:

  • Civil servants and policymakers
  • Cultural and creative professionals
  • Researchers, educators, and media practitioners
  • Community organisers and local development actors

All travel, accommodation, and programme costs are covered.
