Arab Fund for Arts and Culture is calling for applications from organisations in Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Palestine, Syria, and Tunisia for the Ecologies of Culture Creative Caravans for Festivals and Touring Projects project.
Ecologies of Culture is a four-year programme (2025-2029) led by AFAC, in partnership with Oxfam, Megaphone, and Echos Electrik, and co-funded by the European Union. The idea behind the call is that while each local ecology is a world unto itself, the interaction of one world with another can inspire novel strategies and solutions that may have exceeded our specific imaginations.
The Festivals and Touring Projects call is open to structures and organisations — including festivals, exhibitions, residencies — that circulate, tour and disseminate artistic and cultural works in at least one of the nine countries and that engage with or reflect on global issues.
Projects may consist of festivals, exhibitions, residencies or touring cultural events. Projects must be completed within a maximum of 24 months from the date of signing the grant agreement.
Up to 12 projects will receive funding of up to 65,000 EUR each.
