NightSchool: Training and Mentorship Programme 2024 (Italy, Latvia, Belgium)

Black text of the call on a coloured background.

NightSchool is a new programme for emerging night culture curators. From 3 to 8 June 2024, 15 selectees will take part in a week-long peer learning session in Silandro (Italy), Riga (Latvia), and Brussels (Belgium). NightSchool also supports the participants in pioneering and implementing their own sustainability focused night culture events in their local scene.

Comprised of five of Europe’s leading nightlife specialists, NightSchool is a training programme, knowledge sharing initiative, and online resource designed for night culture producers. The initiative is based on three pillars – Social Awareness, Entrepreneurial Insights, and Environmental Sustainability – and it pairs promoters, bookers, venue owners, and other hands-on creatives with industry veterans and experts from the European culture circuit.

To complement the training and mentorship programme, NightSchool is building an online resource and hybrid platform that offers educational content to a global audience, hosted and curated by a vast network of key experts.

Emerging night culture curators based in the EU can apply.

Funded by Creative Europe, NightSchool will select 15 participants, providing a grant of 5,000 each EUR (2,000 EUR towards travel, accommodation and hospitality costs and 3,000 EUR as an event stipend).
