Municipality Centar, Sarajevo invites national and international professional artists, architects, and designers to apply for a permanent outdoor sculpture 2021, celebrating the life and career of the basketball player Mirza Delibašić. Original artwork by one selected artist, architect, designer, or artistic team will be displayed and become a permanent part of the municipality’s art collection. The total budget for the sculpture (either new or existing work), including artist fee, design, materials, fabrication, shipping, permits, and installation is 44,000 BAM (~22,500 EUR). The sculpture will be installed at the site of Skenderija Center Platou.
Fabrication and installation will begin 18 September 2021, with the sculpture presented to the public on 8 December 2021.
