Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo: Showcase 2026 (Hong Kong)

Hong Kong Performing Arts Expo (HKPAX) provides a platform for arts practitioners and institutions in the performing arts industry worldwide to showcase their work to international peers, fostering collaboration and touring opportunities. Practitioners of all performing arts disciplines are welcome to apply.

The call is for the following:

  • Full-length performances in dance, drama, music, xiqu (Chinese Opera), and multi-disciplinary arts; excerpt performances are allowed for xiqu’s work.
  • Performance duration must be between 45 to 60 minutes (a recording of a full-length performance is required for all applications).
  • Submissions may include ready-to-tour work or works that are ready to premiere, however, works-in-progress will not be accepted.

Successful applicants will be offered one to two performance opportunities at a designated venue in Hong Kong during HKPAX (9 to 13 October 2026), where they can present their original work to a global audience.

Each selected applicant will receive basic technical support from the performance venue, promotional support from HKPAX, a travel and accommodation allowance of 10,000 USD, a complimentary spot in the exhibition area to promote their work, and two Full Passes granting access to HKPAX events.
