Delfina Foundation, with support from Delfina Foundation’s Network of Africa Patrons, welcomes applications from artists based in Southeast Asia for a 12-week residency in London from 6 January to 27 March 2026.
Each year, Delfina Foundation runs four three-month residency seasons. These residency seasons are dedicated to ‘open’ independent research or to ‘thematic’ collective research around a specific issue or idea. This residency will take place during the ‘open’ winter season 2026.
Applicants must be a citizen, or long-term resident, living and working in one of the following countries: Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Philippines, Brunei, Cambodia, Myanmar, Lao People’s Democratic Republic (LPDR), Timor-Leste.
The selected applicant will receive a twelve-week residency at Delfina Foundation, including:
- A return economy-class flight
- Airport transfers in the UK
- Reimbursement of visa fee (if required)
- A living allowance of 40 GBP per day
- A materials budget of 1,000 GBP
- Local travel pass
- A single bedroom at Delfina Foundation
- Opportunities to engage in the art scene in UK through structured activities and independent time
- Access to a programme of planned group activities
